When I was told we were going here for dinner I was no amused. Boring bad bar food is all I could think of but biy was I surprised. We visited on a Friday night and were greeted by an extra happy gent who showed us to a nice comfy booth. Our waitress was equally as cheery -- like REALLY cheery. She told us the specials, filled up our cups without asking and was super fast on her feet. The fish and chips were outstanding. The 2 fish portions were huge and not too battery, the fries were just okay. The steak was cooked perfectly. I got the mushroom salad with grilled chicken and was blown away by the taste and size -- salads usually disappoint. VERY happy and probably will return.
Good restaurant,friendly service and atmosphere,if your vegetarian this bar has lots of veggie items that most bars don't. These guys are known for their classic Kelseys wings, burger and fries or burger gravy and fries. I went here for a group party, nice atmosphere if your going for a drink. I suggest kelseys for anyone new to it.
