Having eaten there before, we had a birthday...

Having eaten there before, we had a birthday celebration for 14 for there. Initally they were very accomodating, as we booked pretty last minute, but we had problems throughout the evening getting the entree's in a timely manner, and with the cheque. The server initally told us she could split them up, then the manager said he could not, then the server split out 3 couples cheques, but missing at least on meal! The result was 14 adults that had been drinking, confused with the bill. This really put a damper on the evening, making the memory a not so good one. Unlikly that we will visit again, and certainly not with a large group!

We found your restaurant by pure chance, as we...

We found your restaurant by pure chance, as we had reservations at another local eatery but they seemed to have lost it. We arrived at aprox. 8 P.M. and were greeted by a most welcoming host (during the course of the evening we found out his name was Jose)and were seated at a great corner table. Almost immediatly, we were greeted by our server, who introduced himself as Allan, and ordered drinks, actually we didn't order, he recomended. After the martinis we let him order our meals and wine. The lamb chops, excellent, the stuffed pork, excellent, the latin paella, too much rice and very dry, (Allan asked if we wanted another dish, but everything else was so good that we did not want to spoil the flow). Allan also recommended the wine, a beautifull Australian Shiraz.(it was so good we had 2 bottles) We had no room for desserts, but Jose brought us 4 liqueurs that tasted like heaven. All in all a wonderfull experience. Great work.

I visited "Julia" on Valentine's Day and it was...

I visited "Julia" on Valentine's Day and it was absolutely perfect. The Valentine's Day menu was superb and well worth the price. The service was exceptional and I especially enjoyed their live DJ, dancing and entertainment. I'm not sure if dancing is available every night or just because it was Valentine's Day. I will definitely come again!

First time, came in for a quick bite while...

First time, came in for a quick bite while downtown shopping on a rare Tuesday playing hooky from work with my wife. I had the soup and it was fantastic! My wife tried it, loved it too, and changed her order (she was just going to have the salad) to add a soup for herself. The waiter was excellent, although he had a very strong accent and was quite soft spoken. Will definitely make plans to come back for dinner sometime.
